A first for everything…
I did it…I caved and got another Disneyland pass. So, who’s in for a little Disney outing?
Well, I went today after work to pick up my pass and I decided to stroll over to California Adventure and ride my favorite ride, Tower of Terror. I didn’t mind that I was by myself for the majority of the time, EXCEPT when I was waiting in line. I suddenly felt SUPER self conscious and felt that everyone was staring at me or pointing fingers. SO when, the ride attendant asked how many were in my party, I couldn’t even say one and ended up just holding my finger up instead.
AND, when i was riding the ride, I still got really scared and started whimpering and the lady next to me asked if it was my first time riding the ride. I think I’ve been on the ride at least a dozen times. oops!
I went home after that…haha

The Dland pass is SO worth it!!! After two years of the California Select pass, I upgraded to the Deluxe and I LOVE it even more!!! Saturdays are the best days to go… not as crowded as Fridays or Sundays, as I can never get myself to go on weekdays when it’s a lot less crowded! I think it’s awesome that you rode Tower of Terror by yourself! You shouldn’t be ashamed. You could have just pretended that your invisible “friend” was too afraid to ride it and was waiting for you down below! haha!
hahaha…..awww janet, you have the best stories! i kinda want to get a dland pass! been thinking about it b/c everyone i know seems to have one. i’ll go with you next time! i love tower of terror but i don’t think jeremy would ride it with me….he doesn’t like those kinds of rides. lame.
hahaha sister!! no need to be embarrassed even though i laughed pretty hard when you texted me. but honestly, i’m all for it cause you gotta make the best use of that pass! hahahaha i keep imagining you holding up one finger to the ride attendant and looking all sad…also, i imagine a sweater tied around your waist for some reason–EXACTLY how you looked in junior high. HAHAHAH! and you whimpering!! hahaha best story of 2009 so far!
seriously…no embarrassment necessary! but it was a great story…midway mania time!!
