  • Have you had one of those instances where you said something and then the room gets silent because it’s something you shouldn’t have said?  I’ve had several instances…What’s even better is that I had a dream that something like that happened and it was so realistic and intense (probably because i’ve felt the same feeling before) that when i woke up i was elated, no, OVERJOYED that it was only a dream….I hope…

So…we heard about this place called BBQ Chicken in Korea from Michelle’s friend Cathy.  They fry their chicken in olive oil, not lard, veggie oil, etc.  I don’t know how much healthier it can be, but everyone loves the EVOO.  Isn’t b/c it has a higher cooking temp?  I dunno. Anyways…Leave it up to the Krazy Koreans to make up their Krazy Korean names.  BBQ doesn’t stand for what you think it stands for….BBQ=BEST OF THE BEST QUALITY.

    ……….

So a few of us went to try Best of the Best Quality Chicken in Buena Park

Go with a group of 5. All the portions at this place either come in 5 pieces or 10 or 12 pieces so it was the portions were perfect for the 5 of us. We ordered everything we wanted and we only had to pay like 11 bucks per person.

Original: I liked this one the best.

Terigold wings.  This was another winner. Everyone really liked these.

This one was like fire spicy. This one was coated with a layer of the spicy red bean paste (kkoechoojang) and something sweet.  We were sniffling and making those sounds when something is too hot for a good 20 min.

Seasoned chicken. This was OKAY. I wouldn’t get these again.

Royal ddukbokgi–Duukbokgi without the spice and much sweeter. This was good.

The Best of the Best Quality sides….Corn and coleslaw.

This dongchimee kimchi saved us when we were eating those spicy drumsticks.

Okay, I have to study. no more pictures!

OMG, I think me and my friends passed by this restaurant just this past weekend… one of my friends saw the Korean BBQ sign and started drooling and raving about it, and was wondering if it was indeed a KOREAN BBQ place.  Just then, I saw a huge sign that said:  GRAND OPEN.  Yup… had to be Korean… After seeing those pics, I think I need to check it out!!!
