  • I don’t get it. How do people, especially women look so put together after they’ve ran on the treadmill and pumped some iron?

When I’m done working out I look like a mess.  I’m red in the face, I’m sweating bullets, my shirt is wet and soggy, my hair is fro’y from the sweating and coming out of my hair clips…basically, not very attractive.

And when I see girls, ESPECIALLY blond ones, come off their cardio machines looking pristine and in mint condition and very attractive i might add.  They look like they only need to dab at their face here and there.  They barely have any sweat marks on their clothes and when they do they are in cute little spots like at the small of their back, or between their shoulder blades and not the entire upper half of one’s body.  And since everyone at my gym is blond and beautiful, this is EVERYONE and i don’t feel so good walking around in my sweaty gear. I quickly run down the stairs that are in the middle of the whole gym, surrounded by all the cardio equipment where all the judgey, non sweating people can stare at you.  haha

you know…speaking of which, when I was in volleyball…I sweat like crazy. Like upper and lower half.  I always had to bring a towel after practice and lay it on the car seat b/c i sweat so much.  I remember drinking a gallon of water after practice too.  But did the tall, blond girls look as nasty as i did?  nope! Do they not have pores? or do i have extremely large ones?

Phew…anyway…rant out of the way…all in all, I like sweating. It makes me feel like I’ve done some GOOD cardio and my skin is always excellent and i drink plenty of fluids, it keeps me regular and I don’t huff and puff after walking up stairs or running after fly balls out in left field.  Praise God for health!

    Now my favorite topic…FOOD.
    My new favorite website!!

    http://tastespotting.com/

There are FANTASTIC pictures of different glorious foods that make you drool and grumble grumble and if you click on it, you get to find a recipe! how great is that!

My first experiment were chocolate chip cookies!

    Recipe: http://blogchef.net/chocolate-chip-cookies-recipe/

So simple and SO delicious.  I think the secret ingredient is the instant pudding. It gave it a bit more fluffiness.  It has a bit too much butter and sugar (pudding=more sugar), than i would have liked, but what the hey! once in a while you can treat yourself!  In moderation of course.

If you’re by my house, I’ll give you one!!
