I’m currently in jury duty and they just informed me of something very interesting…
If someone calls you and tells you that they know you have missed your jury duty and they need your social security number, DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM. They are scammers and they get very aggressive, but ignore them. Jury duty selection does not involve your social security number.
I hope i don’t get called in. i already scheduled things this week…
I brought about 50 things to do today…so i should be occupied.
OH yeah…jury duty selection is based on voter registration and your drivers license registration. So if you don’t want to get selected, don’t do either. but that’s near impossible.

**Boo…I got the worst of both worlds. just my “janet” luck…I’m the alternate juror which means i can’t even make decisions as a regular juror but have to sit there just as long. BOO…why didn’t i just fib a little? I had the perfect opportunity, but i just couldn’t do it. just another “ugh” moment.
Do you get paid as an alternative juror? the five bucks?
Oh well…at least i got a FANTASTIC deal at Nordstrom Rack today…

i hate getting the jury duty notice in the mail…as soon as you see what it is, you’re like….dang it! hope you get out early!

i actually wanted to get picked to see what it was like but they didn’t pick me. it’s so boring though huh? a lot of just waiting around.
i hope you don’t get called in either! that sucks! i would hate to have it during my spring break.
I got chosen as an alternate juror once, it was the most boring thing ever. But yes you still do get paid.
its funny how they show the video during jury duty about how it is our right, and how proud we should feel when we are a part of the process. i thought it was the most boring day ever, until they played both bourne identity and bourne supremacy. still, pretty stinkin boring.
