Parentals are watching 300 and i’m avoiding watching it with them because of the millions of questions they are going to ask me…
Costa Rica was FANTASTIC. I had a JUANderful time and got to FINISH HARRY POTTER (I cried so much….wahh!) and relax before i hit the books and my new internship. phew…this year is wizzing by.
The people and land is so beautiful and i had the best traveling buddies as well.
Our first night at San Jose, Costa Rica, called the Trapp family hotel. hehehe…
Our 2nd day and 2nd hotel in Quepos (Manuel Antonio)…Hotel California. You needed 4 wheel drive to drive up to the hotel. Check out the view!Manuel Antonio is known for having one of the most beautiful beaches…these pictures do not do it justice
Check out the animals and flora:
Iguana that tried to steal our food…We also got crazy and did some extreme sport like excursions…
Day one: Ziplining through the rainforest
We also got to seem so fantastic views of the sunset….
This one was the view from where we were eatingDay 2: White (brown) water rafting…I don’t have any other pictures because my friend has the cd we paid for
Dinner that night: ($3 for each of those plates!)
$2 for this typical Costa Rican dish (rice, beans, meat)
Day 3: Waterfall repelling along with a bonus random nature/plant tour on our drive up to the waterfall because our tour guide fell in love with one of my friends and kept calling her his girlfriend and hugging her.
Plants:
Red thing: where you get palm oil, yellow stuff: what they make chanel #5 out of, Big giant leaf: where you get henna paint (you scrunch it up and out comes red stuff), and smaller green leaf: stuff they make bengay/icy hot out of
The waterfall behind us is what we repelled off of.Last day on our way back to the airport, we stopped at this one bridge where crocs lined the river and were just chilling and sunbathing…He’s smiling!
Fantastic!
